I remember making my first bottle of wine from wild cherries that I picked myself.
I was seventeen and and wondered the mountains of Colorado near our home. There were some wild cherry trees that eventually provided me with two bottles of somewhat palatable, and admittedly cloudy, cherry wine. Still it was a good beginning of my passion as a vintner.
